How To Avoid Motion Sickness

If you feel yourself getting sick while you’re traveling then you know what motion sickness feels like. [Ways to avoid it]

You Will Need

  • Access to Fresh Air
  • Lots of Liquids

Step 1: Horizon

Always sit facing forward and looking at the horizon. Don’t face backward in your seat or sit in a seat that faces backward. Sitting forward helps keep the motion sensed by your eyes and ears the same.

Step 2: Liquids

Carry or have access to lots of liquids – club soda is a great stomach settler; if you are vomiting severely, you need water and electrolytes before you’ll feel better and, perhaps, medical attention if you become dehydrated.

Step 3: Fresh Air

You should always have access to fresh air.

Step 4: Frequent Stops

Plan enough time on your trip to stop and let your yourslelf get out of the car.
