How To Take Songs, Videos, Photos and Playlists Off You iPod

The following is step-by-step guide on how to take songs, videos, photos and playlists off your iPod to computer folder or import to iTunes library directly.

You Will Need

  • Your iPod / iPhone
  • Computer with Windows XP/Vista system
  • iPodRobot iPod to Computer Transfer

Step 1: Install iPodRobot iPod to Computer Transfer

Download iPodRobot iPod to Computer Transfer and install it on your computer.

Step 2: Launch iPodRobot iPod to Computer Transfer

Launch iPodRobot iPod to Computer Transfer , it will prompt to connect your iPod to computer:

Step 3: Connect iPod to computer

Connect your iPod / iPhone to computer, iPodRobot iPod to Computer Transfer will display all the contents of your iPod, including music, movie, audiobook, podcast, photo and so on:

Step 4: Select files to copy

Uncheck the files and playlists that you not want to copy, or just click “Copy to Folder” or “Copy to iTunes” for copy all contents, iPodRobot iPod to Computer Transfer will prompt you select target folder:

Press OK button to start copy:

Step 6: Done!

Good info,thanks. I personally use a tool called Cucusoft iPhone/iTouch/iPod to Computer Transfer. It helps me to transfer my songs/videos/photos from ipod to my computer directly and safely.
