After creating your free Howcast account,

1. Click the “Upload” button found on most pages or link to http://www.howcast.com/upload/new.
2. Click the “Browse” button and locate the video file on your computer.
3. Enter a title, description, tags (optional), and category for your video.
4. While your video is uploading you will need to enter the required information requested on the page and on subsequent pages. Some information, while optional, will help make your video more appealing and useful. For example, we highly recommend that you take the time to enter the items needed for your video as well as the specific step data.
