When you upload or edit a video, you have the option of making it “private”. Private videos are accessible to the public, provided they know the URL of the video, but do not show up in search results, video browse pages, or profile pages.

There are two ways to make a video private:

• During video upload, choose the radio button next to “Private” under the Visibility setting. See below for a screenshot:
• In the video edit page, choose the radio button next to “Private” under the Visibility setting. You can edit your video by clicking on the “Edit” button next to the corresponding video on your My Videos page.
