Having trouble embedding Howcast videos in your Wordpress blog? Trying using the Vodpod “Post to WordPress” Firefox add-on.
You Will Need
- Vodpod "Post to WordPress" Firefox add-on
- A WordPress blog
Step 1: Install the Vodpod "Post to WordPress" add-on
Go to http://vodpod.com/wordpress and install the Post to WordPress Firefox add-on.
Step 2: Enable the add-on
In the Firefox menu, choose View > Toolbars > Customize. Drag the Post to WordPress add-on icon to your navigation bar.
Step 3: Navigate to the Howcast video you want to embed
Navigate to the Howcast video that you want to embed in your blog. E.g. http://www.howcast.com/videos/2448-How-To-Make-Money-Performing-on-the-Street
Step 4: Click on the "Post to WordPress" button
Click on the Post to WordPress button. A pop-up window will display the embedded video and prompt you to add the credentials to post to your blog. Enter in your blog details and log in information and click on the Publish button.
Step 5: Voila!
The video is now embedded in your blog.
