Your videos can receive playbacks on howcast.com and on other sites on the internet (via people embedding your video on their own site or blog using the Howcast embedded player). The total number of playbacks (on howcast and on other sites) is always shown next to your video in the My Videos page at http://www.howcast.com/my_videos.

To see a breakdown of playbacks on howcast.com versus other sites, visit the playback page for your video and find the “Views” on the right column of the page. The number next to “Views” represents total playbacks. If your video has playbacks that also occurred on other sites, a small “details” link will appear. Click on the “details” link to see the number of playbacks your video received on howcast.com and on other sites.
