Why Is My Application or Assignment Video Hidden?

When you upload a Director's program appplication or assignment video to Howcast, it is automatically placed in a "hidden" state. Hidden videos can still be viewed by visiting the playback page for that video, but they do not appear in search or any of the browse pages. You cannot make an application or assignment video "public" from the edit video page.

If your video is approved, it will automatically be moved to a "public" state, and will appear in search results and browse pages. We do not instantly make your video public to give us time to review the quality of your submission. Please refer to the "Director's Guide":http://www.howcast.com/network/directorguide for more details about quality and style.
