How To Eat Insects

Ever been so hungry you could eat a bug? Cheap, eco-friendly, and surprisingly nutritious, insects may be the future of food.

Step 1 Treat yourself to dessert. Many specialty confectioners sell chocolate covered ants, barbecue-flavored crickets, or lollipops with mealworms or scorpions inside.

Step 2 Tell a friend how much you like eating insects, and invite them over for your next meal.

Step 3 Prepare your insect recipe and chow down. Don’t think too much about what you’re eating.

Step 6 Get some bugs. Bait shops often carry crickets and mealworms, and many bugs can be purchased online.

Step 7 Use the internet to research which bugs are edible, nutritious, and tasty. Cultures the world over eat bugs regularly, so you have plenty of insects and insects recipes to choose from.
