• Description Evan Atwood has been creating videos since the age of 13, when he started using his spare time as a homeschooler to shoot claymations and other short films. In 2005, he and his friends won grand prize at the first-ever Milwaukee High School Film Fest with Impersonator II, "a tale of shape-shifting espionage..." At 19, he directed Solitaire - afilm about a college freshman who wakes up with blood on his hands and fears he has killed his father. Also at 19, Evan transferred schools to Columbia College Chicago where he directed 4 - 16mm films as class projects. Solitaire finished up and won Evan a student grant at the Beloit International Film Festival as well as a screening at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth in Seattle, WA. Evan now works on one short film each year. After Solitaire's 2008 film festival run, Evan is anticipating how Out of Nothing will do in 2009. At the same time, he is planning for the short film he will make in 2009 and his first feature-length film: It runs in the Family.
