• Description Random Animation is a small studio in Denver, Colorado, specializing in clay and stop motion animation. The entire staff consists of Randy Boyum - and about 80 little people that he pushes around - one frame at a time. They don't seem to mind so long as he doesn't leave fingerprints. Randy has been animating clay for over 20 years and has produced dozens of ads and short films. a couple of which won a couple awards................................................................................. The short film "How To Survive A Bear Attack", featured at Howcast.com, is 2 1/2 minutes long and took 564 hours to complete.....The man and the bear both have wire armatures with bodies covered in cloth, but their heads and hands are made with clay.................................................................................. Randy's shorts and other things are slowly making their way onto the web. You may see more of his work on his channel at YouTube. He also created some greeting cards for HD Greetings.com. including a Father's Day card and a pixelated Christmas card.
