How To Make an Omelet

If you don't like your eggs runny, slide the eggs out onto a plate after step 7, then flip the uncooked side back into the pan (from the plate) before adding your fillings. This will ensure the eggs get cooked through on both sides. Once the uncooked side is on the skillet, add your toppings to the cooked side and fold over after about 15 seconds. Also, I've found that cooking eggs for an omelet on one notch over low heat lets them cook more evenly and without the "lacing" that occurs when cooking them on medium. Bacon grease is also a more delicious substitute for butter or cooking oil if you're not concerned about cholesterol.

How To Start a Fire Without Kindling

Great ideas, but kindling is defined as "materials able to easily start a fire". All the materials you mentioned are kindling.

How To Reuse Old Business Cards

Great video. Just like the file folder idea, old business cards can also be used as labels on binder spines. You can also buy stick-on magnetic backing for business cards so you can use them as magnets on your fridge. If you have the unprinted side facing out, your kids can decorate that side and use them as their personal magnets for report cards, drawings, etc.

Mashed Potato Taste Test

It's not the butter...homegrown red (new) potatoes make the best mashed, hands down.
