Mrfixitrick's CD Turbine is based on the Tesla Turbine invention of Nikola Tesla which uses only flat discs, instead of blades, in the turbine. The CD Turbine is unique among Tesla Turbines because it has magnetic drive discs which require no shafts, bearings, or seals.
