Step 1: Take apart the keyboard

How To Light Up Your Keyboard: Wire the LED connection

Step 4: Wire the LED connection

Using solid core wire, solder two of each color to each of the two LED contacts

i usually use a big, bulky light hung over my computer desk to light my keyboard up at night. but it gets in your eyes and is distracting. It also lights up the screen a little and i dont like that (is that so wrong?)

This does seem like a lot of work for extra lighting, but kudos to you for doing it and making a video for others. Well made video. We sell replacement LED bulbs for other lighting projects at http://industrialleds.com/ but all our bulbs would need an external power supply. Great job!
