You Will Need

  • 1 c. ice
  • A blender
  • 1 small banana
  • 2 oz. light rum
  • 2 tbsp. banana-flavored liqueur
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. simple syrup
  • And a large cocktail glass, like a daiquiri or margarita glass
How To Make a Frozen Banana Daiquiri: Chill glass

Step 1: Chill glass

Chill the cocktail glass by filling it with ice and water, and set it aside.

Step 2: Crush ice

Crush the ice in the blender.

If you’re making a big batch of daiquiris, add the other ingredients to the blender first, then add in ice until the pitcher is full.

Step 3: Peel banana & break up

Peel the banana and break it into small chunks.

Step 4: Put banana in blender

Place the small chunks of banana into the blender.

How To Make a Frozen Banana Daiquiri: Add rum, liqueur, lime juice, & syrup

Step 5: Add rum, liqueur, lime juice, & syrup

Pour in the light rum, banana liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup.

Simple syrup is just sugar boiled in water—but honey will work equally well.

Step 6: Blend

Blend the ingredients for about 15 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.

Step 7: Empty glass

Empty the now-chilled cocktail glass.

Step 8: Pour & serve

Pour contents into the glass and serve.
