Follow these steps for a delicious and easy-to-make omelet you can enjoy anytime.
Fill a stock pot with water and place over high heat to boil.
Place the freezer bag in a large cup and crack two eggs into it.
Add the cheese, peppers, onions, and ham to the freezer bag.
You can also use mushrooms, red pepper, and spinach. Omit the ham for a vegetarian dish.
Seal the freezer bag. Shake the contents of the bag so that the ingredients blend together.
Open one corner of the bag and carefully squeeze out any air. Reseal the bag, and drop it into the boiling water. Boil for about 13 minutes.
Remove the bag from the boiling water with tongs. Open the bag, and slide the omelet onto a plate. Grab a fork and enjoy!
Chickens in the U.S. produce around 75 billion eggs every year, 10 percent of the total world supply.

This video is dangerous. Manufactures of freezer bags, such as Ziplock have issued warnings stating that their bags are not designed to be heated in this fashion. This can potentially release toxic chemicals into your food. Do not do this.

Interesting idea. I have to wonder, though: if you've got a stockpot handy, wouldn't you have a frying pan available, too?

This is so stupid! The use of plastics in cooking and food storage carries serious health risks. These "freezer" bags were never intended for cooking food.
Just get a skillet and fry the omelette (omelet). If you have an all metal skillet, you can cook the omelette in the oven.
