Commenting on an earlier comment: gardendaleguy, so you're saying that a person who's agoraphobic, the fear of being in open places, shows extremely defensive and introvertive behavior? Doubtful. As a nurse I have to have a pretty broad psychological knowledge and these are all pretty concrete signs of when someone is lying to you.

each description fits the exact same as someone who is agoraphobic, or someone who is just an introvert. This is not the way to detect a liar, it's just another way to make insecure people feel even more insecure.

The myth that people look down and to the left when they lie,and up and to the right when there telling the truth is NOT real. This was made up for by Hollywood.
