Kind of idealistic, don't you think? This comment may not be with the prevailing positive attitude that seems to permeate this site, but there are many obstacles to the building of such a wall. They need to call a cease-fire, demarcate land for building such a wall, and most important of all, fund it. Then, who says the won't fight to capture the area, now even more enriched by the construction of a state-of-the-art energy resource. This wall could cause even more fighting between two warring cultures and exacerbate the lack of peace in the region. I speculate that such a wall would be destroyed by guerrilla soldiers long before it actually stands the test of time as a "wall of peace".
