Why spend money on a commercial ice pack when you can make one at home in minutes?
You will need
- Rubbing alcohol
- A freezer safe
- resealable plastic bag
Step 1 Mix liquids Mix three parts water to one part rubbing alcohol, which keeps the water from freezing into a sold block.
Step 2 Pour into plastic bag Pour into a sturdy, resealable, freezer-safe plastic bag and seal it carefully.
Step 3 Freeze it Pop it in your freezer for at least an hour before using.
Avoid freezer burn by wrapping the ice pack in a towel before holding it against your skin.
Step 4 Reuse Pop it back in the freezer for future use.
