How To Restore Your Energy After a Tiring Long Run

You are breathless and your chest feels a little tight here and there after a very long-distance run. You grab your bottle for water, but wait! You will first need to restore your energy first for later activities. here is how you do it.

You Will Need

  • 5 minutes to yourself
  • An empty stomach (optional) (optional)
  • A quiet place
  • Lying down (optional) (optional)

Step 1: Find a Place

Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.

Step 2: Have peacefulness

Sit down and take about 5 minutes without doing anything. Do not move and try to relax.

If you prefer for the best results, you can go on with an empty stomach.

If you wan to do the exercise by lying down, take note that you will need to go with an empty stomach. If not, you will most likely to induce vomitting.

Step 3: Stop

After the 5 minutes are over, stop the restoration exercise. If you could still feel your chest tight, repeat the steps mentioned above again until the results are better. If it worsens, seek medical help immediately.

After vigorous physical exercise(s), your body absorbs whatever you drink or eat. Coffee, coke, ice lemon tea or other juices could quench your thirst a little, but it later on it can make it unhealthy to your body. That is why you should always drink water.
