Gain experience through an internship. Ask questions, observe your peers, and go the extra mile.

Step 4: Take a course in public speaking
Take a course in public speaking. As a forensic scientist, you may be required to speak in court. You must express your findings succinctly.
Step 5: Join the Forensic Science Society
Join the Forensic Science Society as a student or an affiliate. Here you can learn the latest procedures and trends.
Step 6: Network
Network with as many people as possible. Maintain contact with professors and other professionals. These people might help you get a job!
