Granitas are kind of like smoothies and slushies put together. There are lots of different kinds, and they are all delectable! This kind is a lenom granita.
Put everything in a blender (other than the dish and fork) and mix on a high speed for a few seconds, or untill it is slightly foamy.
You do this so that the sugar is evenly mixed and the sugar does not settle.
Put the mixture in the caserole dish and place in the freezer.
Next you stir it every half hour, breaking up the pieces and pulling the pieces away from the sides so that everything is evenly mixed. Do this about 3 or 4 times or untill completely frozen.
It is best to do this otherwise it will be more of a giant popcicle.
Put it in a cup or enjoy out of the dish!
