Secure (https) web proxy protects your privacy with your ISP. The connection between your computer and the secured proxy (e.g., https://www.utopianpal.com ) is encrypted and therefore your ISP has no way to know which site you are browsing.
You may browse web sites blocked in your school or by your ISP, e.g.. youtube facebook and myspace, with a secured web proxy. More tutorials are available at: theproxyguide.com.
