Available at http://www.mydiscbuddy.com/ – this video explains all the steps you need to take to successfully integrate PayPal with Kunaki using My Disc Buddy. We walk through the following topics:
1. Pre-purchase needs.
2. How and what specifically to purchase.
3. How to get your script onto your web server.
4. How to put the settings for My Disc Buddy so it works seamlessly for your Micro-Continuity program.
5. How to customize the look and feel of the script to match the look of your web site. After watching this video, you should be able to automate your Micro-Continuity site with relative ease!

You Will Need

  • Your Kunaki Account Logon Credentials
  • An active PayPal Account
  • FTP access to your web site's files
  • Internet Access
  • An FTP Program (such as FileZilla)
  • An HTML Editor (such as DreamWeaver or Kompozer)

Step 1

1. Go to http://www.mydiscbuddy.com and purchase the “Disc of the Month” script.

You don’t need to purchase all Disc Buddy scripts unless you plan on using a different script for a different product. The Disc of the Month script is perfect for Micro-Continuity.

Step 2

2. Using your FTP software, upload the Disc Buddy files to your web server. Remember to upload the file with your unique 10-digit code into the “order” folder.

Keeping the file named as “order” will make the order link on your site much easier to create.

Remember to change the “change_me” folder to something unique and difficult to guess

Step 3

3. Run the install.php file and set up as indicated on the video

After updating the configuration, DO NOT DELETE the Install.php file even though it tells you to. Instead rename it to something unique so you can go back and make changes to the configuration if you need to.

To make changes to the configuration after they have been saved, just go rename the install.php (whatever you changed it’s name to) file back to “install.php” and then pull it up in your web browser. You’ll be able to edit any of the settings. Just remember to rename the file again when you are all done.

Step 4

5. Run the Admin.php file to upload your Kunaki products.

Remember to set it as the first video and remove the test product.

Step 5

6. Edit the Header.html and Footer.html files to include your website’s Header & Footer respectively.

Step 6

7. Link your Order buttons to the “order” file and you will be all set!
