You Will Need
- A computer with internet access
- Manufacturer's number
Unplug and reinsert the cables
Unplug all the cables, reinsert them, and then reboot the system.
Allow the console to cool
Allow the console to cool down, especially after prolonged use or if two of the four sections of the ring are lit.
Check power supply
If three of the four red lights on the ring are lit up, check the power supply pack. A red, orange, or no light indicates a glitch with the power cable -- not the console.
Remove the Xbox hard drive
Remove the Xbox hard drive, and turn the console on. If there is no error, turn the console off and reattach the hard drive. Restart the console.
Unplug Memory Unit
Unplug the Memory Unit and turn the console on. If there is no error, turn the console off and plug the Memory Unit back in. Restart the console.
