You Will Need
- A puppy purse
- Your small dog
Step 1: Carry two ways
Some of the best breeds to carry around are Chihuahuas, Maltese, dachshunds, Pekingese, Jack Russell Terriers, and Yorkshire terriers.
Step 2: Pick a material
Pick a material that is right for your dog. The body is basically a jacket that fits around your dog, so make sure it’s comfortable. Faux fur and leather are two especially soft options.
Step 3: Choose your color
Choose a color that complements your dog and your own style. Purses come in a wide variety of fashion-forward styles, including denim, leopard print, basic black, and pink faux fur.
Step 4: Carry two ways
Decide whether to carry your pooch with the shoulder strap or by the handbag handles. Either way, make sure they’re getting ventilation so they won’t overheat, and that they have an unobstructed view to take in all the action.
Step 5: Take them for a walk
Take a few breaks to let your friend walk and stretch their legs. The jacket converts to a harness and the shoulder strap turns into a leash.
