Whats the point of all this? Just to make it tidier? Or are you guys worried about things getting cross wired/heated on a home-made pc?

4 reasons, #1, we build our own pcs and take pride in our work inside out. #2, it looks aesthetically better than a bird or rats of wires and cables, and thirdly, messing cables can conflict with the airflow path in your case. Thanks for watching and replying :)

:) geek over here too.. I once built my own pc a while back but never worried about how it looked on the inside, so was just wondering if there were reasons for doing this outside of aesthetics.. Thanks for uploading, looking forward to some more..

mianly just to keep things tidy to tell you the truth michael, but yeah if you are worried about cable management you should have seen my pc build uHHHH thermal take the extra 4 pin and sata power cables are nice but a pain in the @ss to hide. a good trick is to make some holes right next to your mobo. on the mobo tray. that way any excess wires can be looped into there and bang already a cleaner case..... another thing is using ribbon cables or use zip ties and push them to the back of the case to help hide those un-necessary cables!
