Step 1: Be active
Be active. You can’t enjoy the benefits of dating lots of people if you have no way to meet them. Accept invitations; join clubs; take up hobbies; try an internet dating site.
Take a class or seminar on dating—everyone there is single and looking.
Step 2: Ask out everyone
Ask out anyone and everyone you’re attracted to—even if you think they’re out of your league or aren’t your type.
Step 3: Explain you're busy
Establish up front that you are extremely busy—that way, you won’t have to explain all those nights you’re with other “friends.”
Step 4: Keep phone off
Keep your phone off when you’re on a date—trust us, it won’t kill you—so calls from other romantic interests don’t arouse suspicion.
Keep your date locations varied so an overly-familiar bartender or waiter doesn’t give you away.
Step 5: Don't broadcast, but don't lie
You don’t need to broadcast that you’re seeing other people—but if you’re asked, never lie about it, either. If you’re having sex, make sure it’s safe sex. You want to spread the love, not an STD.
Step 6: Don't feel guilty
Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty about dating several people at once. Until you find someone you want to commit to, it’s the smart thing to do.
