I can see why Leo Laporte made fun of this guy. Why would anyone pay 500 dollars for a device that only accesses the internet? The use of Google docs seems like a copout due to the limited built in hard drive space. The only way this device would be of any use was if it was GSM unlocked like Nokia's N900. If I could take my T-mobile SIM card from my N900 and put it in this device, to make it connected to the internet all the time, then I would have no reason to complain about its lack of hard drive space. This device and Google Chrome OS netbooks need 3G connectivity to be viable in an environment where 3G connected laptops are affordable and available to the majority of the American public.
