How to Make Grilled Pork Chops

These marinated pork chops are delicious with a hint of citrus.

You Will Need

  • 6 pork chops
  • Coarse salt
  • Fresh pepper
  • ¼ c. plus 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 3 cloves garlic, with skin, crushed
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 5 sprigs rosemary
  • Olive oil
  • A baking dish with lid
  • A platter

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Season

    Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Then place them in the baking dish.

  2. Step 2

    Mix

    Mix together the olive oil, orange zest, lemon zest, orange juice, and rosemary in a small bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Coat chops

    Pour the mixture over the chops, turning them to coat. Then add the garlic and cover tightly.

  4. Step 4

    Marinate

    Let the chops marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Then remove them from the marinade and let them sit on a platter for 30 minutes.

  5. Pork chops should be at room temperature before grilling.

    Prepare grill

    Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grate to create a nonstick surface.

  7. Step 6

    Grill

    Grill the chops until they're cooked to medium, about 4 minutes. Then transfer them to a platter and let them sit for 10 minutes before serving.

  8. Step 7

    Enjoy

    Drizzle the chops with olive oil and serve with your favorite sides.
