You Will Need
- Balloons
- Green yarn
- 1c. flour
- 1c. water
- Newspaper
- Hangers
- Red tempera paint
- Craft glue
- Green construction paper
- Scissors

Step 1
Blow up balloons
Blow up and tie your balloons.

Blow up a variety of different balloons.

Tie yarn around knot
Tie green yarn around the knots in the balloons.

Make paper mache mix
Make a paper mache mixture by combining 1 cup flour with 1 cup water.

Tear up newspaper
Tear the newspaper into thin strips.

Dip
Dip the newspaper strips into the paper mache mix and then wrap the strips around the balloons.

Dry
Tie the balloons to a hanger with yarn and let them dry.

Paint
Paint the balloons with red tempera paint. Once dry, glue on a green leaf cut out of construction paper.
