You Will Need

  • Cleanser
  • Exfoliator
  • Omega-3 fatty acids
  • Water
  • Sunscreen
  • Honey
  • Aloe
  • Oatmeal
  • Lemons
  • Cucumbers
  • Moisturizer
  • Fish oil supplements (optional)

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Wash your skin

    Wash your skin with a gentle cleanser. Wash your face before going to bed and in the morning. Do not over wash, as this will cause drying.

  2. Some gentle cleansers infuse ingredients like oatmeal to help with dry skin.

  3. Step 2

    Eat and drink

    Eat foods with Omega-3 fatty acids, such as salmon, and drink plenty of water. Your skin will glow from the inside out.

  4. Take fish oil supplements if you can't easily achieve your daily Omega 3 requirements through your normal diet.

  5. Step 3

    Wear sunscreen

    Wear sunscreen, even in the winter -- this applies to Caucasian, African-American, and all other skin types. It will help the overall health of your skin now and in the future.

  6. Step 4

    Try natural remedies

    Use natural remedies by making pastes from ingredients like honey, aloe, oatmeal, lemon, and cucumbers. All of these are excellent ways to keep your face smooth.

  7. Step 5

    Moisturize

    Moisturize your face and body with a store-bought moisturizer that is free of pore-clogging oils. Plant-based oils are an alternative to traditional moisturizers. Keep your skin clean and your diet healthy, and your skin will be silky smooth.
