You Will Need

  • Healthy diet
  • Omega-3 fatty acids
  • Toxin avoidance
  • Limited sun exposure
  • Healthy weight maintenance
  • Facial exfoliator
  • Hyaluronic acid
  • Coconut oil

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Eat healthy

Eat a healthy diet, loaded with antioxidant-rich vegetables and fruits.

  2. Brussels sprouts, cabbage, kale, chili peppers, artichokes, berries, kiwis, and pineapple are excellent selections.

  3. Step 2

    Get essential fats

Get Omega-3 fatty acids, which hydrate and moisturize skin from the inside. Wild salmon, fish oil, and chia seeds are great sources.

  4. Step 3

    Avoid toxins

Limit or avoid aging toxins, like sugar, tobacco, and alcohol, which can lead to dull, dry skin.

  5. Step 4

    Limit sun exposure

Limit sun exposure. Small, short bursts are healthy, especially in the winter, but cover up when you've had enough to avoid sunburn.

  6. Make sure to cover your skin in cold winds in the winter to avoid windburn as well.

  7. Step 5

    Maintain weight

Maintain a healthy weight. Losing and gaining too often may cause skin to wrinkle and sag.

  8. Step 6

    Exfoliate

Exfoliate skin to remove dead cells once or twice each week. Use skin-care products that contain hyaluronic acid, which you should apply to your face when it is damp to lock in moisture.

  9. Step 7

    Moisturize

Use natural moisturizers like coconut oil, which may help heal damaged skin and act as a natural sunscreen.

  10. Dermatologists use 6 categories for skin types, from the lightest at type 1 to the very dark type 6.
