How to Cook London Broil

You Will Need
- 2 to 2 1/4 lb. Lodon broil, 1 1/4 in. thick
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 6 large garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
- Salt and pepper
- Bearnaise sauce
- Vegetable
- Potato

Step 1
Put the steak in the bag
Place the steak in a heavy, large, resealable plastic bag.

Make the marinade
Make the marinade by pureeing the remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor and season the mixture with salt and pepper.

Add the marinade
Pour the marinade into the bag with the beef and seal the bag. Let the meat marinate at room temperature for 2 hours or in the refrigerator for 6 hours, occasionally turning the bag.

Prepare oven or grill
Preheat your oven broiler or heat your grill to medium-high heat and then broil or grill the steak to your desired doneness.

Slice and serve
Transfer your steak to a platter and let it stand for 15 minutes. Then slice it thinly, against the grain, and serve it with Bearnaise sauce, a vegetable, and a potato. Bon Appetit!
