This is how you hold the guitar while sitting, you want to put it on your right leg and it goes right in this little crease here, that's why its made like that, and I like a nice sturdy chair, maybe a kitchen chair or a nice stool. You don't really want to be on the couch or bed, its a little soft and it's hard to keep a good posture. Some folks, they like to put it on their left leg, that's OK. You know I find that it kind of hurts my calf and ankle because I have to be in sort of a weird position, I can't get my foot flat on the floor, but for me it's on the right leg. Now, very relaxed, that's how you hold the guitar.
