You Will Need

  • 1 package House-Autry Original Chicken Breader
  • 3 pounds chicken
  • 1/2 cup water

Step 1

Preheat oil to 360°F in deep fryer or 1/4 inch oil in skillet to medium high.

Step 2

Moisten chicken with water and shake off excess.

Step 3

Coat with breader by shaking together in plastic bag or rolling in breader on plate.

Step 4

Deep fry 15-20 minutes; pan fry 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.

For an unusual dinner, tried Deep Fried Chicken with buttered waffles and maple syrup! Or, for a mouth-watering picnic or game day treat, add some slaw, baked beans and deviled eggs.
