Hi, my name is Michael Samaniego golf professional at Chalk Mountain Golf Course. Chalk Mountain Golf Course is a championship level golf course with 3 professional golfers, including myself. And today I’m going to talk to you about golf. Let’s talk about how we perfect our golf swing. Golf is really not a sport in which you can guess. We really want to try to rely on our instinctive movement. So the more time that you can spend on the driving range and on the golf course, you’ll be able to actually execute good golf fundamentals using your instincts. Remember that some of the basic fundamentals for our sport of golf is grip and stance, and remember that as long as you’ve got a good basic fundamental closed-knees hips to shoulders on one parallel line and a golf club on a second parallel line leaning toward our target, and keeping in mind that you need to watch the club making contact with the ball, this is eye-hand coordinated ball sport. As you execute the swing, nice relaxed fundamental grip, not too heavy of a grip, not too hard. Relax the grip, relax your shoulders, relax your arms, take the club away, then swing. Nice posture and pose, and watch the golf ball drop to the ground. Golf is not a game of perfect, so the more that you practice, the better you become.
