"I'm Tim Flynn and I'm the owner of Winters Plumbing and Heating in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Winters Company offers plumbing, heating, cooling. If you need service today; we're the business to call. My website is wintershomeservices.com. I'll be talking to you today about plumbing. Some basics tools that I think that, if you want to do some repair work in your house, you're going to need a plunger; you're going to need some pliers, the sort of slip-joint pliers; a flashlight for sure; some kind of screwdriver. People tend to have tools around the house that can do multiple jobs whether they be plumbing, or any kind of fix and repair. One of the major things that I think people need to have around the house are hose washers, because I tend to see a lot of hoses strung out all over the house and they leak like crazy. Those washers have to be replaced, they're probably like a dollar for a dozen of the hose washers, they should be replaced about once a year. Plungers I'd recommend for people to have would be a wooden handled rubber cup. I wouldn't recommend anything that are plastic-handled, anything that looks like an accordion, just the standard, typical plunger that you used to stick in the ceiling when you were a kid and swing off of. One of those plungers. Flashlight I'd recommend would just be any kind of LED, because it's multiple bulbs inside of it. Any LED flashlight is fantastic; small, compact. You basically want to keep it in a place where you're always going to be able to get it. I know I have a few of them around my house. So I'd recommend anything with LED, that'd be perfect."
