As sleek and chic as your iPod is, you still need to take care of it!
Remove the headphones and all other attachments from your iPod.
Switch the iPod to Hold so you don’t accidentally turn it on and off.
Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth. Do NOT apply water directly to the iPod.
Resist the temptation to use cleaning products that aren’t specifically formulated for iPods, which could damage yours.
Wipe your iPod clean with the damp cloth.
Dry it with another clean, lint-free cloth.
Keep your iPod dirt-free by purchasing—and using—an iPod case.
According to Apple, the 100 millionth iPod was sold in April of 2007.

Micro-fibre clothes are best -- the ones that do not leave micro-scratches on surfaces.

My friend works at a ipod repair shop and says that you shouldn't use water because water can get into the cracks and form corrosion which will in time make the unit useless. He's seen this a lot of times. You should use alcohol instead because it's dehydrator.

Did anyone notice that random comment at the end of the video that was completely usless. And your not supposed to use water, it could seep throught the cracks, and if you keep it in the case you wouldnt need to clean it. ALL IN ALL THIS HOW-TO WAS A WASTE.
