Hi, I'm Patricia Longo, and I'm a celebrity makeup artist. I've worked with models from Sports Illustrated, like Brooklyn Decker and Julie Henderson to Alec Baldwin at 30 Rock. All those things that experts do that the average person doesn't know how to do, we'll learn how to do it on these videos. Well, as a makeup artist, I have so much makeup. But, I definitely will tell you that after two years or so, I usually replenish my makeup. I don't suggest keeping makeup more than two years. When I have eye shadow, eye shadow can last up to five years or so. But when it comes to foundations or any kind of liquid, I tend to either refrigerate them or I keep them in a cool spot. I definitely think that if you have to refrigerate your foundation, it lasts longer. I love that. Traveling with makeup is tough these days. Anything with fluids, you have to keep under three ounces, and you have to put into your bag. So usually, I try to travel with a little bit of my foundation. I usually put it in a smaller tube, so I'm not carrying my entire foundation. And mascara, lipstick, lip gloss, I put it all in a little plastic baggie like they ask. You don't have to do that with the eye pencils or creams or eye shadows, just your fluids and your lip glosses, cause they will confiscate that. And trust me, they keep it. They don't give it back. And I hate that.
