Hi, my name is Rhon Mizrachi and I'm the head of Krav Maga Federation in the United States. I also own my own school in Manhattan on 25th St. I have been teaching Krav Maga for over 30 years. You can visit us online on kravmagafederation.com. Today, I'll demonstrate for you Krav Maga. Krav Maga is designed for self defense and survival purposes only. Unlike competing arts, which by the way are great, we don't try to entertain. We do not try to sell tickets. We do not even try to start the fight. The only purpose of our training is to keep ourself ready in case we have to face the street environment situation. It's a realistic style that understanding in a street environment you could be faced with multiple attackers. With attackers who are armed. With attacker who could come at you by surprise. You're not going to be weighed or matched in an equal weight class. And most important thing, the fight must be finished as quick as possible. Therefore, Krav Maga practitioner are taught they want to pursue aggressively all vulnerable targets. Such as eyes and groins and every single one of those places that will earn you penalty points in a competitive environment.
