"Hi, my name is Captain Layne Wagner of Hawk One Charters. I've been a captain for over 40 years. I've fished all over the world and now I'm up here in Long Island, New York. You can find me online at Hawk One Charters, www.hawkonecharters.com. I'll be talking to you today about saltwater fishing. What I'm going to show you right now is how to cast a spinning wheel and open face reel. Number one, how you hold it. Just put your fingers like Spock, put it right here, right on the hand. Make sure the line, hold the bail. Straight up and down like that. Point a finger, grab the line. Put the bail back. Next thing, put your left hand under the body of the pole. Take it back, and then you release your finger when the pole gets to 1 o'clock. So as one motion: release has cast it... this reel. And that's it. "
