Hi, my name is Shir and I'm the founder and CEO of shirconsulting.com where we focus on converting the existing data from your business into massive savings and extraordinary profits. Today we're going to learn the basics of Excel. Let's get started. Great! In this video we are going to talk about navigating between WORKSHEETS and WORKBOOKS. So here we have one WORKBOOK open with a lot of different WORKSHEETS. If you want to navigate between WORKSHEETS, you simply click on the individual tab on the bottom. Now, if you want to go more to the right and you kinda don't see what's going on here, you can use these four buttons on the left side. You can use this button over here which is all the way to the left. You can go one at a time to the left or one at a time to the right. And it simply moves you along as you can see the different WORKSHEETS. This one moves you all the way to the very right to the end of the WORKBOOK that we have open. Let's open up another WORKBOOK. And now let's navigate between WORKBOOKS. We can do this in a number of ways. We can MINIMIZE one of them and then MAXIMIZE the other one with the mouse. Or we can use the keyboard to hit CTRL, press and hold CTRL and TAB which then cycles through to the next WORKBOOK. You can keep doing this until you find the one you want. To go in reverse order, you can do CTRL and SHFT and then hit TAB. And if you have ten different WORKBOOKS open, you can go to the last one as opposed to the first one. If you want to use the additional keyboard shortcut of ALT, press and hold ALT and hit TAB, you can actually see what programs you have open, what windows you have open as well. Once you're in the WORKBOOK that you want, you can quickly move between WORKSHEETS with the keyboard using a shortcut of pressing and holding CTRL and then using the PAGE DOWN key to go one to the right, one WORKBOOK, WORKSHEET to the right or pressing and holding the CTRL and then PAGE UP to go one WORKSHEET to the left. If you want to go really fast, you can press and hold CTRL and PAGE DOWN and press it down until you go to the very end. And PAGE UP to go to the very beginning. And that's how you navigate between WORKSHEETS and WORKBOOKS in EXCEL.
