What up y'all, my name is Tweet Boogy, I represent the South Bronx. Had my first hip hop crew at 14. Done some work with Jayzee, Mary J Blige, Destiny's Child. Travel all over the world because I teach hip hop culture and right now I'm ready to teach you some dances for the club. Let's get started. Alright, lets talk about freak dances. I know when you have a partner and your at a club or your at a party, you feel like you want to outshine your partner. Whether it's a male or female, you want to outshine your partner. So you kinda want to freak em, you wanna freak em, you want to put the freak dance on them. I'm gonna go [dances in front of partner]. And I'm going to come up on him. Now he's going to try to do it to me. I'm going to stand there and I'm going to watch him. Now he's gonna do low, whatever dance move that is, he's gonna drop it low, and he's gonna try to come up on me. It's kinda like a mini battle that we're having against each other even though we're still dancing. Whatever moves that is without it being offensive to each other. I'm going to try to freak him, and he's going to try to freak me, meaning my dance has to be better than his so everybody could be like "Oh, she danced better than you, now what moves do you have?" And he's going to do the same thing to me. So we're gonna try it with music, and I'm going freak him and he's going try to freak me. DJ [Music starts] So we start with the basic two step. And the guy is going to stand there and he's going to watch and I'm going to put it on him, I'm going tobfreak him. [music plays] Now, he's going to do his dance and he's going to try to battle me. He's going to try to drop low. Oh, he had a little attitude now so I'm going to freak him one more time. " You ready for me?" Guy; mmhmm So, here we go. [dancing] He not ready for me. Let me see what you got, what you got, what you got. Let me see what he got. Aw, aw! Oh he's really trying to battle. Alright, so that's the basics of the freak dancing. He's battling me, I'm battling him. The ladies gonna win, the gents go hard. We're going to take it out on the dance floor.
