What up y'all, my name is Tweet Boogie. I represent the South Bronx. Had my first hip hop crew at fourteen. Done some work with Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Destiny's Child, traveled all over the world cause I teach hip hop culture and right now, I'm ready to teach you some dances for the club. Let's get it started. Alright, so they got this new dance called the shuffle. Matter of fact, I'm gonna break it down to the basic of the basics. It's called the T shuffle. You start like this, with your heels together, with your toes apart. But there's two parts to this, so I'm gonna show you the right leg first. So, you want the toes to come in, good. See how your toes lift off the floor? Good. The heel is gonna lift off the floor next, boom. Let's try that again. Toe's off the floor, boom, good. Heel's off the floor, same direction, boom, put the weight on the toe, boom, balls of the foot. So now, the second part: heels together, toes turned out, good. You're gonna bring it up, up, and it comes down. Up, it comes down. Not en passe because this has nothing to do with ballet technique. Very respected, but this is a different dance, different dance style. Bring the foot up, it comes down. Bring the foot up, it comes down. Now, that's two parts, we're gonna try to pull these two parts together. So, as you bring the foot up, boom, don't fall, like me, your toes have to come in, and you bring it down, boom. The toes open up, foot comes down. Let's try that again. So, you bring the foot up, boom. Bring the heel together, boom. So, let's try it a little faster. And, one, and, two, and, three, and, four. Your right leg will be diesel after this. So, let me get my DJ to drop the very slow beat. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Good! Let's try that again, slow, five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Now, we're gonna try it fast, one good time. Five, six, seven, eight. And one, and two. Did you fall? I didn't fall. Six, seven, eight. And one, and two. There you have it. It's the T shuffle y'all.
