Hello, my name is Jorday Rivera, and I am an expert in salsa. I own two dance studios in Queens, New York. We're going to be learning a progression of salsa moves so we can actually go out, practice, take it to the clubs, take it to a party, and you can show off all the great moves you learned. I recommend to everyone dance on the balls of their feet, and dance tight and close so that you need to take small steps so your steps are sharper and more defined. And I really recommend that you're always lifting up and tightening up your core, which is your belly, and kind of always bending your knees slightly. So you kinda always wanna have like a sit down tight position. You're always gonna be on the balls of your feet because it makes you tighter, you're more fast when you're doing spins. Your footwork looks more beautiful, more fancy and you pretty much look like a tighter, more well-groomed dancer. The two most important things for you to remember about posture is you must always, always dance on the balls of your feet and always slightly have your knees bent.
