One of the questions that I'm asked all the time is, "What is the difference between a resume and a CV?" The primary difference is that a resume is one page. A CV is actually a longer document, where you go into more detail about your academic past, about your publications, and really the best way to think about it is, nowadays, your LinkedIn profile is the equivalent to a CV. It is a more thorough explanation of all that you've done in your past, your educational background, and has the opportunity for you to link into, you know, presentations that you've made, decks that you've created, all that supplemental kind of work that just speaks to your past experience. So your CV is actually a longer, more specific version of your resume.
