How to cut wisps in hair. This really good for taking a little bit of weight from around the face, especially if you want to wear your hair in a ponytail, and you don't want all of this length. Very important: if what you want is a wispy framing of the face, you must lift the hair and cut it straight up like so. Just graduate that into the outline, as you can see. If you do not lift the hair up, you will get a very heavy line. And that's how you cut wisps into hair.
