So there are a couple of things that you should do after a deep tissue massage. One, you should get off the table and get dressed. And as you get off the table be careful to watch your posture when you get up. A lot of people are overzealous and can be a little dizzy after a massage. So typically after you get off the table, I recommend just giving yourself a few moments to sort of collect yourself. You can feel a little bit spacey after a deep tissue massage. A lot of blood rushes to the area that you having worked on. So it's nice to just relax for a minute, have some water. There's actually a debate amongst the massage community about whether water is important for you to intake after a massage. But I think it can't hurt. it certainly can't hurt to have a glass of water. So have one, and just relax a little. Do a little bit of stretching, take a few moments before you get in the car. And enjoy your ride home.
