Learn about people born under the Cancer sign from internationally-known astrologer Joanna Martine Woolfolk in this Howcast video.
Cancer is essentially the sign that represents home, family, the need to nurture, the need to create something in life that is very home-like. Now I don’t mean necessarily building a house, but Cancer tends to move through life making family of people, of bringing them into himself or herself and holding on. Cancer’s symbol is the crab, and the crab is a creature with the claws that brings in, brings people or in the crab of course brings things in.
Cancer can be somewhat problematical to deal with because Cancer has a hard shell like a crab, sometimes aloof, sometimes difficult to get through. Basically, Cancer is deeply sentimental, deeply sensitive, and needs to feel secure. In love, can be very skittish, and once he or she opens up, it’s in a sense hooked for life. It’s very hard to get rid of a Cancer because they love deeply and they want to keep you. Cancers make wonderful soul mates, house mates, love mates, family members, because they are totally loyal and truthful.
