Aaron: Hey guys, it’s Aaron.

Kristina: And I’m Kristina.

Aaron: And we’re professional dance instructors coming at you today from New York City, and today we’re going to be talking about some advanced moves in the swing. And what we’re going to be talking about is a little step we like to call back walks and kicks. So let’s take a look at this. Starting in our close position with our basic action. One, two, triple step, triple step.

Now from here, as we would normally rock behind, guys, we are going to open the hold, letting our left hand go and turning out. And instead of rocking back we’re going to start walking one, two, three, four. Now from here gentlemen we’re going to take our left leg, ladies our right, pointing forward. Point, step, changing, point step, to face each other while the gentleman takes his leg outside of the lady’s. As she steps inside, point, step, and then gentlemen we’re going to take our right foot inside the lady’s. Point, step. Now from here we’re going to link up again and rock step, coming back into our basic action.

Now let’s take a look at that one one more time. And one, two, three and four, five and six. One, two, three, four. Point, step, point step, point step, point step, rock step. One and two, three and four, one, two, three four, point, point, point, point step, rock step, triple, triple, one, two. Now let’s try that with some music.
